July 11, 2016 There are some who have difficulty forgiving themselves and who dwell on all of their perceive

Heller everyone!
First off, I would like to wish a 🎉HAPPY BIRTHDAY🎉 to my baby sister Sariah, love you!! And if you have the means, everyone wish her a Happy Birthday too! Wow, so much happened this week, it was successful but we had to work our tails off (literally I no longer have a tail, that kills that Mormon rumor)! Last Wednesday was the refiner's fire for us and we were dog tired by the time we finished planning the next day, so we went to bed in our proselyting clothes (the clothes we wear when we work) haha! It feels really satisfying hittin the hay after a hard day's work. And the quote from President Monson is for anyone and everyone who sell themselves short all the time, I found that quote when I was having a rough day and I realized I was the reason the day was so rough! Stop cutting yourself down and look at your strengths before you look at your weaknesses, it makes a world of a difference! There is a fine line between humility and lowering one's self esteem, or self-destruction as I call it. I have crossed that line far too many times and all it does is wear you down and break you down till the only thing you see is a failure and a nobody. You will always mean something to the ones who truly love you, your family and your true friends.

So I received good news from my great buddy Elder Gehring over in Mother Russia that he just recovered from having his appendix removed on his mission, and I forgot to ask everyone to include him in their prayers because I didn't read that email until I sent out my email last week. And I employed the help of many of my fellow missionaries over here in asking Heavenly Father to help him recover so he could keep serving his mission. My prayer may have been a drop in the bucket, but if I didn't say it that would have been 1 less drop. A prayer always means something to our Father above, He always wants to listen to us. One of my favorite scriptures about prayer in the Book of Mormon is when Christ is speaking to the people in the Americas and delivers a sermon very similar to the sermon on the mount, He says, "And whatsoever‍ ye shall askthe Father in my name, which is right, believing that ye shall receive, behold it shall be given unto you." Now that is not to say you can pray for $100, believing it will be given to you, and you'll just have $100; that's not how Heavenly Father works. But, when we ask for something out of a righteous desire and we do everything we can to obtain it and then petition the Lord for His help, then He can give it to us. I know that every prayer is heard and ever faithful prayer is answered in Heavenly Father's own way and time. Be patient, be faithful, and everything will be ok.

I love all y'all,
Elder Crow
